We discussed the upgrade assessment returned by Dr. Stephen Walker.
Notes from the discussion:
- What is the idea of CREATI? Does it depend on a particular platform such as Google Earth or can it be detached from?
- We have to define thoroughly what is collective memory in the research and how the collective memory bank can be developed? - To show that the process in the research is not linear and to ensure that there is a cyclic/feedback process built in.
- We need to be able to describe what is 'Urban Design' in the current curriculum? Is there any different between 'Western' understanding of urban design and 'Yogyakarta' urban design? Or does the CREATI and collective memory be different if it is be applied in the urban design or pedagogical practices in that way?
- Practical arrangement for the next experiment.
- Timetable about carrying out the experiment (to identify the potential risk, what should be done to minimize it, how many participant will be involved, how the number of participant be achievable?)
